WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration of the acceptance of my entry into Rotary Tour des Lakes, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby waive and release any and all claims against the Syracuse Parks & Recreation Department, Town of Syracuse, Syracuse-Wawasee Rotary Charitable Foundation, all event sponsors, volunteers, organizers, and any other individuals or entities associated with the event (collectively referred to as the “Releasees”) for any injury, illness, death, loss, or damage arising out of or related to my participation in this event.

I certify that I am physically capable of participating in this cycling event and voluntarily assume full responsibility for all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, weather conditions, traffic, road and course conditions, equipment failure, and negligence of others.

I understand and acknowledge that participation in this event involves inherent risks that may result in serious injury, illness, death, or property damage. All such risks are known and appreciated by me, and I voluntarily assume those risks.

I further grant permission to the Syracuse Parks & Recreation Department, Syracuse-Wawasee Rotary Charitable Foundation, event sponsors, and local media to use photographs, video, or other recordings of me taken during the event for promotional, marketing, or publicity purposes without compensation.

PARENT/GUARDIAN WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY FOR MINORS

As the parent or legal guardian of a participant under the age of 18, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the foregoing Waiver and Release of Liability and have had the opportunity to ask questions regarding its contents.

On behalf of the minor participant, the participant’s heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, I hereby waive and release all claims against the Releasees in the same manner stated above.

I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from the minor participant’s involvement in Rotary Tour des Lakes.

Join us on Saturday, July 18, 2026, for the 15th Annual Rotary Tour des Lakes — a scenic cycling experience through the heart of beautiful Kosciusko County lake country.

Choose from three route options: 30K, 55K, or our most popular 100K route. The 100K ride takes cyclists on an unforgettable journey past several stunning lakes, including Lake Wawasee, Webster Lake, Chapman Lake, Winona Lake, and Tippecanoe Lake.

Along the way, riders will enjoy peaceful country roads, charming small towns, sparkling lake views, and welcoming SAG (Safety and Gear) stops offering water, snacks, encouragement, and support throughout the ride.

After crossing the finish line, participants can relax and enjoy lunch back at the Syracuse Community Center while sharing stories from the day’s adventure.

Proceeds from Rotary Tour des Lakes support community projects of the Syracuse-Wawasee Rotary Club and local nonprofit partners, helping strengthen recreation, wellness, and community connections throughout the region.

You will enjoy a beautiful ride between the lakes across the countryside and through quaint small towns. There will be SAG stops for a quick healthy snack and drink. Lunch will be provided when you return to the Community Center. A portion of the proceeds from the ride will be used to support community projects of the Syracuse Wawasee Rotary Club and our non-profit partners.

The ride lengths are 30K, 55K or 100K. There will be SAG stops along the routes for a quick healthy snack and drink.

After June 30 and day of registration, lunch can only be purchased the day of the event based on availability.

The collectible Rotary Tour des Lakes custom designed t-shirts are $16 each. Be sure to select your size T-Shirt if you would like to purchase one!

Friday before the ride: 4PM to 6PM Pre-Registered riders ONLY can come check in and pick up goodie bags at the Syracuse Community Center.
7:00am – 9:30am Day-of registration and Pre-registered riders check-in
Mandatory starts by times: 100K at or by 7:30am, 55K at or by 8:30am and 30K at or by 9:30am (Course closes at 4pm)
10:30am – 4:00pm lunch available
4:00pm All riders must be off the course

All riders must sign the event waiver and assumption of risk form prior to participating in Rotary Tour des Lakes. Riders under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign on their behalf.

For safety purposes, children under the age of 12 must be accompanied throughout the ride by an adult age 21 or older.
