Tour des Lakes
Cycling Around Kosciusko County Lakes
Since 2011, several Syracuse-Wawasee non-profits and service organizations have organized the Tour des Lakes bike ride, formerly known as the Liberty Ride. This event has continued to grow and hundreds of cyclists participate annually!
Our ultimate goal is to introduce riders to the natural beauty of Kosciusko County through an unforgettable cycling experience. Proceeds from the Tour des Lakes event support the continued growth and development of the Syracuse-Wawasee Trail system, ensuring future generations can enjoy this incredible resource.
Funds raised benefit the club’s community projects and are shared with our nonprofit partners, allowing us to make a positive impact throughout the region. Together, we’re promoting outdoor recreation, community connection, and sustainable growth.

K21 Health Foundation
The Tour des Lakes is presented by the K21 Health Foundation. K21 is a private foundation that focuses on opportunities to improve health and wellness for the citizens of Kosciusko County. This focus has its roots from the origin of the assets of the foundation being from the non-profit hospital that was established in 1967. The sale of this hospital did not end the intent of the original donors.
